Available configurations
Dry-lining systems and modular walls that eliminate the need for concrete bunkers and reduce the construction site duration.
Dry Lining
The standard solution for renovations and clinical fit-outs. We use panels with industrial laminated lead (PregyRX or Knauf type), ready to be finished with washable paint.
Suitable for: standard X-ray rooms, Dental Clinics, CT.
Prefabricated Modular Walls
Sandwich panels with a ready-applied finish (HPL, painted steel or stainless steel) and a lead insert. They are installed "Lego" style, with no dust and no drying times. Ideal for sterile areas.
Suitable for: operating rooms, Intensive Care, Laboratories.
Self-Supporting Partitions
We create new rooms ("room-in-room") in open spaces or halls, using an independent metal structure fully clad. It does not require existing masonry walls.
Suitable for: imaging centers in office buildings, rented spaces.
Construction and materials
A single untreated screw hole can compromise the authorization of the room. Our systems are designed for absolute radiation tightness.
The Shielding Layer (The Barrier):
- Laminated Lead: We use lead of 99.9% purity (in accordance with EN 12588), bonded to a substrate (plasterboard or particleboard) in a controlled environment, not on the construction site. Typical thicknesses: 0.5mm - 3.0mm.
- Lead-Free Alternative: For dental radiology or mammography, we can use barium sulfate (barite) panels (Safeboard type) that eliminate lead and are easier to recycle.
The Jointing System (Safety):
- Overlap and Backing: All vertical joints are doubled with lead strips applied to the structure or by overlapping the panels, eliminating leakage radiation.
- Penetration Protection: Electrical boxes and screw holes are shielded with lead "pucks" or special housings. Nothing is left to chance.
