General Radiology (Digital)
The standard solution for hospitals and polyclinics. We shield the walls (typically 1.0 - 2.0 mm Pb), install the leaded door and the control window, ensuring a fast patient flow.
Suitable for: Radiography/Fluoroscopy X-ray rooms, Emergency Departments.
Computed Tomography (CT) & Angiography
Complex rooms that require superior shielding (2.0 - 4.0 mm Pb) and heavy doors. We also provide support structures for ceiling-suspended equipment (injectors, lamps).
Suitable for: Imaging Centers, Interventional Cardiology, Operating Suite.
Dental Radiology & Mammography
Solutions optimized for low energies. We can use walls with thin lead or "lead-free" panels, placing emphasis on a friendly interior design.
Suitable for: Dental clinics, Women's health centers.
Continuous 360-degree shielding.
A safe X-ray room means more than lead-lined walls. It is about the correct intersection between walls, floor, ceiling and joinery.
The radiation barrier:
- Walls and ceiling: We use modular panels or dry linings with critical overlaps at the joints. The lead is continuous, with no "leaks" at the corners.
- Shielded floor: For rooms located on an upper floor or above occupied spaces, we install special screeds or lead sheet beneath the final flooring (medical PVC covering).
The Penetration Points
- Boxes and electrical routing: No outlet box penetrates the shielding without being protected at the back with a lead box ("bording").
- Ventilation and fluids: Ducting that passes through the walls is treated so as not to allow indirect radiation (scatter radiation) to escape.

Medical Design and Functionality
- Optimized workflows: We position the door, the control window and the protective screen so that the technician has maximum visibility of the patient while remaining 100% protected.
- Antibacterial finishes: The walls are finished with washable materials that are resistant to strong disinfectants, and the corners are rounded (coving) to prevent dust accumulation, in accordance with DSP standards.
- Automation: The heavy doors for CT are equipped with quiet motors and presence sensors to facilitate access with a stretcher.
